I never used to have this problem either. They will be throwing away something in the house and go completely out of their way to the chicken coop to grab the eggs to throw away too.

I have not personally observed this, although it is possible that my sims are just very sneaky & are disposing of the eggs before i can catch them in the act. One way to make your new animal friends happy and encourage them to produce specific types of products is by feeding them animal treats.
